Love Island star Anna Vakili has opened up about life after leaving the villa, revealing that many of the contestants don’t talk to each other anymore.

In an exclusive interview with The Sun Online, the former pharmacist dished the dirt on the ITV2 show’s WhatsApp group, saying that it’s “not active at all because there are loads of people in there who don’t like each other.”

Vowing to keep names to herself, Vakili continued: "I can't say [who], but I think it's obvious from watching Love Island who doesn't like each other."

During the chat, she was asked to weigh in on remaining couple Maura Higgins and Curtis Pritchard, as well as Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury, but she struggled to form an opinion on the former.

"I haven't spoke to Maura and I don't speak to Curtis so I don't know," Vakili admitted, before saying that she’d recently got in touch with Hague and that her and Fury are “very happy at the moment.”

“Hopefully they will last forever,” she gushed.

While some of this year’s participants don’t see eye-to-eye, Vakili insists that she gets on with most of the female Islanders and tries to see them as often as she can.

"It's weird because I cross paths with some of them. I absolutely love Amy, I obviously see Yewande [Biala] and Amber [Gill] a lot, because they have been at mine a lot. I love Fran [Allen], and I love Harley [Brash]."

Love Island friendships do seem to be tricky things to navigate once everyone has flown to their respective homes once the series ends every year. At the reunion party in early August, Anton Danyluk landed himself in hot water when he confessed to unfollowing Hague on social media as soon as he left the villa.

When host Caroline Flack pressed him about the decision, the Scottish gym owner explained: “I’m sure Molly will agree with this, we never really spoke in the villa, we never even spoke... We never even had chats, there were times when we were in the room together and we never had chats.”
