Love Island's Chris Hughes says Olivia Attwood wants him to propose - despite reports of a split

Chris Hughes has revealed his girlfriend Olivia Attwood wants him to propose - despite rumours circulating that they are on the verge of splitting.

Hughes said he plans to marry Attwoood, who he met on Love Island earlier this year, but that he would only get down on one knee if he knew they would tie the knot within the year.

"Olivia wants me to propose, she wants to marry me," he told the Mirror.

"But I've known people who got engaged and four years later they're still not married. I think it's wrong.

"You shouldn't get engaged if you're not prepared to get married soon after."
