We're rapidly approaching the end of Love Island 2018, so you know what that means – it's lie detector test time.

Tonight's episode (July 23) is set to pit Laura Anderson against Laura Crane, making things extremely awkward for Jack Fowler.

You may recall that Jack dumped 'old' Laura for 'new' Laura recently, which creates some delicious tension in the test.

Old Laura is tasked with questioning Jack using the lie detector technology, and it's clear she completely relishes the challenge.

To start things off, she begins: "Are you happy I'm doing your questions?" – to which Jack sheepishly responds: "Someone's got to do it, might as well be you."

All the while, new Laura is sat elsewhere watching it all unfold, sharing: "I didn't realise that Laura was going to be asking Jack the questions.

"The first thing that was going through my mind was, 'Laura, you idiot.' I literally was just melting into the floor. How could you put the poor boy through this?"

As new Laura has written the questions for Jack to answer, the whole situation is kind of a perfect storm.

One of the questions includes: "Is new Laura a better kisser than old Laura?" – prompting Jack to declares his loyalty to his new partner by answering: "Yes."

But was he telling the truth to this – and every other – question? Love Island will reveal all tonight at 9pm on ITV2.
