Love Island 2021 winners Millie Court and Liam Reardon have announced they have ended their relationship.

In separate statements, the pair wished each other the best but told fans they were 'gutted'.

Reardon also shared on his Instagram story: "We both will continue to be friends and I will remain Millie's biggest supporter in all that she does and I know she will always do amazing."

After winning the £50,000 prize last summer, the couple embarked on a long-distance relationship as Reardon lives in Wales, and Court in Essex.

Last November, Reardon revealed that he had moved to live with Court in Essex.

In a recent interview, Court opened up on living with Reardon: "Liam is really domestic, he will hoover, clean, do my washing he's really, really good and he's also a very good cook so he actually cooks the majority of our dinners but I think that's mainly because I like a lot of pasta and I don't think he wants to eat pasta every night."

The new season of Love Island is currently airing on ITV2 and has generated controversy for the reintroduction of Adam Collard to the show.

Collard was previously accused of "gaslighting" during his appearance on the 2018 edition regarding his treatment of another contestant.

Women's Aid criticised ITV for bringing back Collard: "In the 2018 series of Love Island, we saw Rosie rightly call out Adam for his unacceptable behaviour, which included gaslighting and emotional abuse. We hope that ITV recognise how serious this issue is and that it must be learned from, considering they have asked Adam to return to the show."
