Macaulay Culkin’s brother Kieran has responded to the sexual abuse allegations made against Michael Jackson.

Succession star Kieran and Home Alone’s Macaulay were both regular visitors of the performer’s Neverland Ranch as children, and Jackson revealed in a 2003 documentary that he shared a bed with both of the siblings.

“I have slept in a bed with many children,” said the singer in the documentary Living with Michael Jackson. “I slept in a bed with all of them when Macaulay Culkin was little. Kieran Culkin would sleep on this side, Macaulay Culkin was on this side. We all would just jam in the bed.”

When asked about Jackson in a recent interview with The Guardian, Culkin said: “The only thing I can say is that I can’t really say anything, and the reason for that is I can’t be helpful to anyone.

“To me, it seems like there’s two sides to this thing and because I can’t be helpful on one side or the other, anything I say and anything that gets put out in print could only hurt somebody and there’s already a lot of really hurt feelings.

“There are already a lot of people who are in a difficult position and if I contribute in any way, it’s just going to hurt someone because I can’t actually help.”

Culkin’s brother Macaulay, who testified in Jackson’s defence at his 2003 child molestation trial, said of his relationship with Jackson earlier this year: “At the end of the day, we were friends.”

Wade Robson and James Safechuck, who also spent a lot of time at Jackson’s ranch as children, accused the singer of years of sexual abuse in HBO’s documentary Leaving Neverland, which was released in January.

Michael Jackson denied any wrongdoing right up until his death in 2009.
