Macaulay Culkin and goddaughter Paris Jackson get matching tattoos

Macaulay Culkin has proved that he still has an incredibly strong relationship with his goddaughter, Paris Jackson, with the pair getting matching tattoos yesterday afternoon.

The former child star was famously close to Paris’ father, Michael Jackson, as a child up until the singer’s sudden death in 2009 – even defending Michael during his high-profile sex abuse trial, insisting that the star never molested him.

Now Macaulay and Paris have taken to social media to show off their shared inking, with both stars getting a spoon tattooed onto their forearms.

Neither have commented on what the spoon represents, with the meaning of the etching remaining a mystery, however, Paris has many sentimental tattoos across her body – including several in tribute to her famous dad.

The tattoo comes just days after Macaulay impressed fans by showing off his healthier image as he stepped out for dinner in Hollywood last week.

The 36 year old was said to be in good spirits as he showed off his dramatic image overhaul and was barely recognisable with his trimmed hair, clean-shaven face and casual outfit.

Macaulay has previously sparked concern during his years in the limelight, regularly being papped looking dishevelled and worst for wear, particularly in 2012 when he was photographed swigging Red Bull with a worryingly gaunt appearance.

However, the star has seemingly turned his life around and has even been cast in Seth Green’s new comedy-drama film Changeland, which also stars Rose Williams and Breckin Meyer.

Speaking about his lead role in the film, Macaulay shared: “It feels like a dream to be filming in Thailand with an incredible crew and some of my closest friends.”
