Made in Chelsea's Maeva D'Ascanio and James Taylor expecting baby boy

Maeva D'Ascanio and James Taylor are expecting a baby boy.

The 'Made in Chelsea: Mallorca' star's fiance organised for a gender reveal cake to be made, and the pair's happy news was played out on Wednesday night's (24.08.22) episode of the E4 show.

Maeva began cutting into the cake, and James admitted he could spy some blue-coloured sponge, meaning the pair are expecting a boy.

He said: "I can see blue. It's a boy!"

Maeva then said: "I knew it! Oh my god, It’s a boy."

James added: "I actually can’t believe we’re having a little boy. I love you so much."

Maeva also took to Instagram to share the clip.

She wrote: "It’s. A………..BOY! (sic)"

The reality star announced in May that she is expecting her first child with James.

She wrote on Instagram: "I’m so excited to finally share all of the details about James’ surprise proposal, including a look at my gorgeous ring.

"P.S: We’ve also been hiding another secret... [baby bump emoji]"

Maeva also said at the time: "All my dreams are coming true at the same time. I still don’t believe it!

"It’s all amazing - I just want to enjoy it all as much as I can."

James admitted he already feels "pretty special" about the couple's impending arrival.

He said: "We are more excited every day. My dad told me that, when he had his first child, he never thought he could love something so much.

"And I’m starting to get an inkling of that feeling as this baby growing in Maeva’s tummy is pretty special."
