Yahoo News MAFS UK's Ella clarifies her reaction to JJ and Katie Price's relationship
Married at First Sight UK star Ella Morgan Clark has clarified her apparent reaction to ex JJ Slater's relationship with Katie Price.
The pair struck up a bond on last year's series of the reality show, though it didn’t last. JJ has since confirmed a relationship with Katie, though reports have suggested that Ella has been unhappy with his new relationship after forming a friendship with Katie herself.
After showing emotional scenes for Ella on this week's MAFS reunion, the star has hit back at claims of any bad blood, confirming the episode was filmed back in November before the relationship, and that she has "not got a bad word to say about" JJ's new girlfriend.

"I love Katie, always have, always will," Ella told the Queer Love Stories podcast. "Got no issue with her, even though that's the way it's been made out in the press. This whole drama is so unnecessary.
"My annoyance is with JJ," she went on to explain. "So Katie had reached out to me, I assume before she got with JJ, and said, 'You're my favourite on MAFS, we need to meet up.' I said, 'Yeah, yeah, yeah.' So we were messaging. Never met up. I've still never met her.
"So we were going to meet up, whatever, sending a few messages, not many. Then obviously it all comes out about her and JJ, and I just thought, 'Well, I'm not going to message back,' because I don’t want to mug myself off or look desperate.

"If he wants to date and move on, he's single and can do what he likes. I took a little bit of time to get over him and I think it was quite clear that I liked him more than he liked me. I did want it to last.
"So obviously he moved on with her, and I'm happy for them. As long as he's happy – I want him to be happy, and her."
Ella revealed that she and JJ haven’t spoken "in quite a few months" despite both promising they "would stay friends and be in each other's' lives".

"Obviously I do feel we still could have done that, regardless if I was in a relationship or he was," she added, before revealing Katie did reach out to her.
"[She] was like, 'Since JJ and me have been together there's been stuff in the press, and I just want to let you know I've got no problem with you,' and I said, 'Katie, no problem with you, want you to be happy, enjoy your relationship, enjoy your life.'"
Ella went on to confirm that her emotional reunion episode appearance over JJ was actually filmed last November, when the main series was still airing.

"I have no feelings for JJ, just to clarify," she said. "At the time, yes I did have feelings for him. It was [still raw then] because the show was still airing at the time we filmed the reunion, so obviously I was having to watch the episode when we were filming the reunion.
"The episode that had just aired was the one where he says, 'When Ella's drunk, she says some things and can be a bit problematic.'
"So obviously that's why when I was filming the reunion I was like, 'Yeah I still have feelings for him, I'd like to walk back in with him.' After that I'd say my feelings kind of just went."
