Magician David Blaine accused of sexually assaulting second teen model

A second British woman has come forward to claim that famous magician David Blaine sexually assaulted her when she was 19 years old.

The model has told Scotland Yard officials that Blaine attacked her in New York as a teen, only coming forward six days ago and set to be interviewed by detectives, it has been reported.

The woman’s claims come after former Chanel model Natasha Prince accused Blaine of raping her after being given a drugged drink at a party in London in 2004, with the new victim making the decision to come forward after speaking to Prince.

Blaine vehemently denies the allegations.

Scotland Yard have confirmed that they are investigating an allegation, and that they have asked the US star to return to London for an interview under caution, The Mirror report.

Speaking to the publication, Natasha shared: “After I told my story, a British ex-model got in contact with me. I got really emotional and started crying.”

Natasha started modelling at the age of 15 but abruptly quit the industry at 24 after working on hugely successful campaigns with Chanel, Lacoste and Oasis.

Last November she went to the police, accusing the magician of raping her just months after her 21st birthday after meeting him in a Knightsbridge nightclub.

Speaking out earlier this month, Natasha said: “Blaine had said ‘Come to my friend’s house?’ I thought there would be some cool people there to make friends with.

“I went to this apartment in London. I was offended that Blaine was treating me like I was stupid with his superficial conversation. His friends were ignoring me like I was an object.

“Then he said he’d get me a drink. I thought, I might as well as I was already there. Then 20 minutes later I was out of it and I followed him to the bedroom. That’s the last thing I remember.

“I blamed myself for going to the house. I thought I must have been drunk, but I had only had one drink. I had passed out for 12 hours.”

Blaine insists that any act between himself and Natasha was consensual, with his lawyer Marty Singer saying: “My client vehemently denies he raped or sexually assaulted any woman, ever, and he specifically denies raping a woman in 2004.

“If, in fact, there is any police investigation, my client will fully co-operate because he has nothing to hide.”

Natasha said that she decided to come forward with her story after she grew frustrated with the police investigation, saying: “The last time I spoke to the police they said they had been in touch with Blaine’s attorney and asked for him to fly to the UK to be interviewed under caution.

“When they’ve set a date he will be notified.”

Speaking out on the latest allegation against Blaine, Scotland Yard said: “The Metropolitan Police Service received an allegation of sexual assault on Monday, 23 October 2017.

“The offence is reported to have happened against a woman in New York between May and June 1997.

“Specialist officers are supporting the victim.”
