Mama June Shannon is "hoping" to move out of the house where her daughter died.

The 44-year-old reality star lost her daughter Anna 'Chickadee' Cardwell' when she succumbed to cancer aged just 29 towards the end of 2023 and is hoping to take her granddaughter Kaitlyn, 11, - who now lives with her 0 and her husband Justin away from the house where the tragedy happened.

She told People: "We're hoping to be able to move soon because Anna passed away in our home, and for me and Justin and Kaitlyn it's just a constant remembering. This is where everything happened."

The 'From Not to Hot' star added that she and her family are "living ina constant nightmare" following the passing of her daughter and wondered when exactly it is all going to be over for her.

She said: "We are living in a constant nightmare, but for me, for the last six months, it's been a struggle. I got emotional earlier today. It is just really, am I going to wake up from this nightmare?"

But Mama June - who is also mother to Lauryn, 24, and 18-year-old Alana 'Honey Boo Boo' - has found comfort in that Anna's daughter reminds her of how she was at that age.

She said: "Kaitlyn is Anna's twin through and through. She reminds me constantly of Anna. The way Anna was at 11, Kaitlyn is. The way that Anna was growing up. I mean, again, looking at Kaitlyn sometimes, it's not difficult. I wouldn't say it was difficult, but it is kind of like, 'You look like your mama."

Mama June's second daughter Jessica also noted that she has down days as well and wants to "erase" everything negative that has happened to their family in recent months.

She said: "There's moments that I do feel sad. Anna wasn't a really emotional person, but for me, it is just trying to remember her in all the good ways. I want to try to erase all of the bad couple of days."
