A man has been charged in connection with a reported burglary in Dorchester.

As previously reported, a man forced entry to the Creams dessert café in Dray Horse Yard at around 6.30pm on Sunday June 23.

He caused criminal damage to the glass door and stole the till containing cash.

A CCTV appeal was launched following the incident. 

Following enquiries by officers, David Barkham, 19, from Dorchester was arrested and charged with burglary. He is due to appear at Weymouth Magistrates’ Court on Thursday July 25 2024.
