Man fights for life after car hits pedestrian in Bedworth

Warwickshire Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious injury collision in Bedworth. A car collided with a pedestrian on Mill Street next to Iceland on Thursday, June 27 at 6.54pm.

A man in his 40s sustained serious head injuries and remains in hospital in critical condition. Investigating Officer, PC Russ Pennington from Warwickshire Police Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: "We’re appealing for any witnesses to this collision that has left a man with very serious injuries.

"We believe there was quite a few people in the area at the time so we’re encouraging anyone with information to get in touch. Also, if anyone has any dash cam footage from the area, please check it to if there is anything that could help our investigation."

He added: "You can let us know by going to Tell us something you've seen or heard | Warwickshire Police or call 101, quoting incident 320 of 27 June 2024."
