A GREENOCK man made death threats during an incident in the town last month, it is alleged.

Jonathan Montgomery, 30, shouted, swore and uttered threats to kill another man at his home on Drumfrochar Road on April 19, prosecutors claim.

He has denied the alleged offence through solicitor Edward Sweeney at the sheriff court.

Montgomery has been allowed bail and ordered to stay away from the alleged victim prior to a sheriff summary trial which has been set for September 10.
