Police are hunting for a man after he scammed Facebook Marketplace sellers using fake bank transfers. The man planned to meet sellers in person and then used a false driving licence and showed fake evidence of a bank transfer that he said he had made to pay for the items.

The police are investigating 13 incidents where this has allegedly happened. The man has arranged to pick up items across different locations in London. These items include mobile phones, cameras and gaming equipment.

He has given sellers a false address in the West Drayton area and has gone under the names of Ben Hudson and Joshua Harris. The Met are appealing for the public's help in identifying a man in connection with the fraud offences.

Met officers based in Camden and Islington are investigating and have released an image of a man they wish to speak to in connection with the offences. Anyone who may know the man in the image or with information that could assist this investigation can help by calling 101 quoting reference 5560/26APR.
