Manchester United are two games away from Europa League glory as face Sevilla in the semi-finals of the competition.

United are favourites to win the finals tournament in Germany, but made hard work of their quarter-final tie against FC Copenhagen.

The Danes pushed Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side all the way to extra-time, with a Bruno Fernandes penalty enough to seal a 1-0 victory for United.

The Red Devils now face Spanish side Sevilla in the final four, and their 1-0 win over Wolves will serve as a warning that United must up their game.

Both sides have recent form in this tournament, winning four of the last six trophies - and whoever wins here will face either Inter Milan or Shakhtar Donetsk in the final.

Date, time and venue

Manchester United vs Sevilla is scheduled for an 8pm BST kick-off on Sunday, August 16, 2020.

The match will be played behind closed doors at the RheinEnergieSTADION in Cologne, with no fans due to be present due to government guidelines regarding coronavirus.

How to watch

TV channel: The match will be televised live on BT Sport 1, with coverage starting from 7pm.

Live stream: BT Sport subscribers will be able to stream the match online via the video player and the BT Sport app.

Standard Sport will also have live text commentary and analysis of the game from James Robson on the night.

Team news

Solskjaer has a few selection dilemmas to sort out, though he is likely to stick with a front four of Anthony Martial, Mason Greenwood, Bruno Fernandes and marcus Rashford.

Paul Pogba will start in midfield, but Nemanja Matic could come in for Fred after the Brazilian failed to shine vs Copenhagen.

Aaron-Wan Bissaka, Brandon Williams and Harry Maguire will all likely start in defence, and Solskjaer must decide whether to persist with Eric Bailly as Maguire's partner, or bring Victor Lindelof back in.

As for his goalkeeper, Solskjaer should in theory stick with Sergio Romero, though David de Gea will be pushing for a start.

Prediction: Man United 2-1 Sevilla

United were not at their best against Copenhagen, and will need an improved performance against a Sevilla side who finished fourth in LaLiga.

Given both sides have already qualified for the Champions League, this tournament is all about glory for them. United should have that extra quality in attack to reach the final.

Head to head (h2h) history and results

The two sides have met twice before, in the Europa round-of-16 back in 2018.

The teams drew 0-0 in Spain before Sevilla edged an impressive 2-1 win at Old Trafford.
