Manhunt launched after multiple commercial burglaries

HAMPSHIRE AND Isle of Wight Constabulary are investigating after multiple burglaries occurred in the early hours across the county.

Burglaries believed to be connected took place in Lymington, New Milton, Ringwood, and Hordle.

Three men were reportedly seen in the area in a dark coloured vehicle when the incidents took place.

A spokesperson for Ringwood Police said: “We are aware of four reports of burglaries or attempt burglaries at commercial premises.

“Our officers on the District Policing Team (night shift) worked extremely hard when these incidents were first reported to us.

“Their colleagues on the day shift, who have taken over from them this morning, are doing likewise as they continue to investigate the incidents.

“Enquiries are very much ongoing and we will be sure to keep you updated on any developments as and when we’re able to.”

The incidents, which were all reported between 10.50pm and midnight, occurred at the following premises:

• Hordle Service Station, Silver Street, Hordle. No entry was gained to the premises – incident number 44240268295.

• Shorefield Country Park, Lymington. Entry gained and cigarettes were stolen – incident number 44240268325.

• Wickd Up Vapers, Gore Road, New Milton. Entry gained. Vapes and liquids stolen - incident number 44240268390.

• The Original Vape Shop, Monmouth Court, Ringwood. Entry gained, nothing was stolen – incident number 44240268359.
