We’re not ashamed to admit that we are still pigging out on all the Thanksgiving leftovers we can get our hands on, and we don’t give a darn if most of what we’re eating is deliciously greasy and carb-filled. And why should we? Eating is the reason for the season and Thanksgiving food is just so tasty.

Needless to say, our food babies still haven’t entirely gone away over the long weekend, but we’re not panicking – we’re more than happy to accommodate our so-called buns (and mac and cheese, and turkey, and stuffing and pumpkin pie) in the oven with the kind of attire that allows our food-filled bellies to be great.

Enter Lupita Nyong’o, who knowingly or unknowingly just gave us the perfect look to let our post-Thanksgiving state of being thrive. The actress was spied arriving for a matinee performance of Eclipsed looking oh so ladylike in a green cable-knit sweater, grey pleated skirt, grey tights, pumps, a wide-brimmed fedora and chic sunnies. She finished her look with a scarf for extra warmth and a blue carryall for her essentials.

We’re just saying, this is the perfect outfit to continue eating every last scrap of Thanksgiving food that’s currently in your fridge. The pleats on that skirt give you all the room you need to let your food baby grow to its full, glorious potential – without sacrificing style. Thank you, Lupita for inspiring us once again to be our best selves.
