Mark Wright and Olly Murs have been flooded with the same demand from fans after they headed on a joint road trip. The pals decided to hit the road on Sunday (June 16) and head to Germany to watch England in their opening game of the Euros 2024 campaign.

Gareth Southgate's side kicked off the tournament at Arena AufSchalke in Gelsenkirchen against Serbia. Three years on from their heartbreaking Wembley final defeat to Italy, the road to Berlin began with a tricky Group C opener.

But Jude Bellingham's early header proved enough to beat Serbia 1-0 and put them top of Group C after Denmark were held to a 1-1 draw by Slovenia, ahead of the Euro 2020 semi-finalists going toe-to-toe again in Frankfurt on Thursday (June 20).

The early morning for Mark and Olly started with a sing-song in Mark's jaw-dropping Essex mansion before the pair travelled to Germany by car. And tension quickly rose in the car as a hungry Mark couldn't find a service station in a bid to fill his stomach for the rest of the long journey.

Singer Olly's laughing probably didn't help radio and TV star Mark simmer down and despite his plea to keep driving, Mark headed into a local town in a bid to find some food with his first attempts proving unsuccessful before he finally managed to pick up a bag of filled baguettes and croissants.

The journey to Germany continued with spirits lifted between the pair, as seen through Olly and Mark's Instagram Stories. However, fears over taking the wrong route saw the tension rise once more before the pair safely made it to their hotel before heading straight out for a beer at a fan park before the game.

And the pair were clearly having a great time. In a hilarious video posted to his Instagram, hitmaker Olly - who recently became a dad for the first time and shared an emotional message as he missed his first Father's Day with daughter Maddison - said: “Wrighty and Murs have made it! We made it to Germany," as he clinked his pint of beer with Mark.

He continued: "Wrighty had a great idea on the way here - we need an England song. I said let’s do it OK, and he said no, it has to be to one of your songs. So he put a remix together and you know what, it’s pretty good." Mark chipped in: "A Heart Skips a Beat - remixed - ready for this summer, for you and the fans, at home and in the stadiums! Are you ready?”, chips in Mark.

Launching into the tune, they sand "So Saka spin me around cos football’s gonna come home, and when you cross it to Kane, you make my heart skip, skip a beat. I know I should but I can’t leave it alone, cos when England play they make my heart skip, skip a beat…" Laughing, the pair then urged fans to send in their own versions of their unexpected collab, saying: "Sing it, send it to us, send it!"

Mark also shared a picture of them both, England shirt-clad, in the stadium. "We made it," he declared and fans were quick to send him and Olly the same message.
