Marriage Selfie-Destructs: Karen Danczuk Splits From Labour MP Hubby

Selfie queen Karen Danczuk has split from her Labour MP husband, Simon Danczuk.

Rochdale MP Mr Danczuk, 48, said he was “devastated” about the split from his 32-year-old wife.

He tweeted: “Good morning & thank you for all the nice words following the separation between my wife & I.

“I’m very upset but focusing on work helps me.”

Responding to well-wishers, he added: “I’m devastated, but life has to go on.”

Mrs Danczuk told The Sun that she was “devastated” by the separation, which has reportedly come after a series of blazing rows.

The former Labour councillor, who has two children with her estranged husband, has become something of a celebrity for her racy selfies on Twitter.

She made worldwide headlines for the pictures of herself wearing low-cut tops and bras and has been papped on holiday wearing cleavage-busting bikinis.

Her pictures have also built up a 54,000 Twitter following, who retweet and favourite most of her selfies.

Rumours have swirled about whether Mrs Danczuk will become a star of reality TV shows like I’m A Celebrity following her resignation as councillor earlier this year.

With selfies like these on her side, she may find herself a popular contestant under the jungle waterfall!
