Strewth! The Masked Singer and I’m a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! are set to join forces for a one-off special this weekend.

The Masked Singer is getting a jungle makeover in honour of the imminent arrival of I’m a Celebrity, which returns to its native Australian camp after a two-year hiatus.

While the gaggle of masked celebrities may not be facing Bushtucker Trials, they will instead compete while dressed head-to-toe in jungle-inspired outfits, including Kangaroo, Witchetty Grub, Cockroach and Koala.

Attempting to guess who is behind the masks are panel Jonathan Ross, Rita Ora, Davina McCall and Mo Gilligan, with former jungle campmate and regular host Joel Dommett back to preside over proceedings.

In a special new twist, Dommett will be put through his paces, where instead of earning food for camp, he’ll be tasked with hunting down those all-important mind-bending clues to help the panel and viewers guessing along at home.

Ora chats to Ross about filming the special on this week’s episode of The Jonathan Ross Show.

“It is so fun! It was so crazy,” she enthused.

Don’t expect to see the Hot Right Now singer heading to the jungle herself any time soon however.

When quizzed by Ross about whether she would like to take part in I’m a Celebrity for real, she said: “I don’t know. There is a lot I like to have around me. I like to have my diffuser around me, my candles. I don’t know, it seems like a lot for me.

“I love watching it but it takes a lot of balls and you’ve got to eat them too!”

ITV’s The Jonathan Ross Show airs on Saturday at 10.10pm. The Masked Singer: I’m a Celebrity Special will air the following day at 7.30pm.
