Fresh from her elimination on The Masked Singer, actress and stage performer Denise van Outen has celebrated her time on the show via social media.

She made it all the way to tonight's (February 8) semi-final as the costumed Fox, but Denise isn't disheartened by her last hurdle exit, so much so that she's named Queen Bee as the contestant she'd like to win.

Posting a series of behind-the-scenes images from the secretive reality show, she wrote to her Instagram fans: "At last, I can finally tell the truth. My mask has slipped.

"After many weeks sneaking around being an undercover singing fox, dealing with endless questions from friends and family, telling constant lies and tales (bushy ones!), I started to dislike the fox I had become.

"But once you're out, you're 'out out' - no going back in the Den! This is where the fun begins," added Denise.

Thanking viewers and her followers for their "constant support and love", the 45-year-old bid good luck to the three Masked Singer finalists: Octopus, Hedgehog and Queen Bee.

Tune in next week (Saturday, February 15) to find out who wins, when The Masked Singer concludes on ITV.
