One of the woman who has accused actor Danny Masterson of sexual assault has hit out at Netflix following the premiere of The Ranch, as Masterson still stars in the episodes.

The series' third season, or part 5, will include Masterson's final episodes of the sitcom after he was fired from the series back in December following allegations of sexual assault, but Chrissie Carnell Bixler has now criticised the streaming for service for writing the actor out of the series rather than dropping him instantly.

"We get it, Netflix. You don't believe us," she said in a statement to The Daily Beast.

"You rub salt in our wounds. Is Danny Masterson still co-executive producer of The Ranch? You knew you had to fire him, but you do a bunch of reshoots so you can finish our rapist's storyline up and give him a respectable send off. And there he is on TV in the new season."

She continued to compare the way in which Netflix reacted to the Masterson allegations with the way other allegations were handled by the service, referring back particularly to Kevin Spacey and House of Cards after the actor was dropped from the series following allegations against him.

"Kevin Spacey? Fired on the spot. Production halted," she continued. "Do you just not believe us?"

Digital Spy has reached out to Netflix for comment.

Shortly after the accusations against Masterson were made public, a spokesperson for Netflix confirmed that they had written the That '70s Show actor out of the series.

"As a result of ongoing discussions, Netflix and the producers have written Danny Masterson out of The Ranch. Yesterday was his last day on the show, and production will resume in early 2018 without him," a statement read.

The actor himself has denied the allegations, issuing a statement that reads: "I am obviously very disappointed in Netflix's decision to write my character off of The Ranch.

"From day one, I have denied the outrageous allegations against me. I have never been charged with a crime, let alone convicted of one.

"In this country, you are presumed innocent until proven guilty. However, in the current climate, it seems as if you are presumed guilty the moment you are accused. I understand and look forward to clearing my name once and for all."
