McDonald issues 'last chance' warning to anyone who eats fries

McDonald's chiefs have sent out a "last chance" alert to all fry aficionados, setting a strict seven-day countdown.

The beloved burger joint has been dishing out its "peel-to-play promotion" since May 29, which means every time you grab a medium or large fries from McDonald's, you're in with the shot of bagging one of a multitude of prizes. For every three stickers peeled, one is a guaranteed win, while the other two offer a code to pop into the McDonald's app.

The loot up for grabs includes hot tickets to this summer's coolest festivals, a wad of cash, some of the most-craved menu items, and exclusive McDonald's swag. On top of that, those who enter ten sticker codes into the app will be rewarded with 2,500 MyMcDonald's Rewards points, ripe for swapping for more menu favourites

Or, if you fancy another roll of the dice, trade them in for another serving of fries and another crack at the prize pool. Over 2.2 million lucky customers have already struck gold, according to McDonald's bosses, with a whopping £700,000 in cash handed out, vouchers for See Tickets worth £15,000, and millions of foodie treats.

Plus, a staggering 80 million MyMcDonald's Rewards points have been snapped up, reports the ECHO. A spokesperson for McDonald's has issued a "last chance" warning to diners, stating that the promotion will end on Tuesday, July 2.

They said: "During the remaining promotional period, and ahead of Monopoly at McDonald's returning later in the year, every purchase of medium or large fries will give customers a chance to peel a sticker on the pack and win one of the millions of prizes, either via an instant win or a code to enter in the McDonald's App."
