Yahoo News McFly star Harry Judd teases reunion will "100%" happen
McFly fans, the boys are most definitely getting back together! You'll just need to be patient for a little while longer.
It looked last month like the '5 Colours in Her Hair' man-band were going to end their year-long hiatus by recording a new album soon, when Dougie Poynter told the Sappenin' Podcast with Sean Smith that they planned to start writing "by the summer".
That might have been a premature prediction, unfortunately. His bandmate Harry Judd has now admitted to The Mirror that reunion talks are still at the theoretical stage right now, purely for practical reasons.
"It's strange because we never planned to have a big break, it just kind of happened," he admitted. "And [a reunion is] going to happen again, it's just a case of when.
"There's been six McFly babies in the past four years so we've been busy with our families and other projects so it's just a matter of time, it's just a case of when."
Boyband reunions are all the rage right now, with Take That, Boyzone, Westlife and McFly pals Busted all out on the road this year - but any competition certainly won't deter Harry Judd.
"We were 17 when we started so suddenly you pursue other things and they start happening for you and you kind of have commitments in other things, it's a matter of when," he said.
"[I'm] 100% excited. If you said to me, 'What's the one thing you want to do again in your career?', it would be to be in the band. Because it's the most fun in the job, hanging out with your mates playing music, nothing beats it."
