With mere weeks until their wedding day Meghan Markle and Prince Harry stepped out on Wednesday to attend the Commonwealth Youth Forum in London.

With summer weather having finally hit Britain, the pair ditched their normal darker-hued wardrobe for contrasting lighter ensembles.

Meghan looked every inch ready to walk down the aisle wearing a cream midi dress by Altuzarra. The chic £1,450 design boasting modern pinstripe detail, statement buttons and an open slit at the skirt.

The bride-to-be stuck to her signature muted palette, pairing the designer dress with a fitted black blazer, which she wore draped over her shoulders.

The modern item of outerwear was by independent Australian label, Camilla and Marc, which is run by a Sydney-based brother and sister duo.

Meghan is no stranger to shining a spotlight on smaller brands and also did so through her accessories.

Continuing the striped theme, the Suits star sported a black and cream striped bag slung across her body. The minimal item was once again by an Australian designer, but this time unknown label, Oroton. The trendy number retailing for a very affordable £171.

The 36-year-old also added numerous dainty items of jewellery to the look and a towering pair of stilettos by the co-founder of Jimmy Choo, Tamara Mellon.

As always, Meghan finished off the look with a natural beauty look, but did ditch her signature messy bun, choosing to have her hair in princess-perfect curls.
