Mel B has admitted she is “upset” Victoria Beckham didn’t turn up to one of The Spice Girls concerts.

The fashion designer formerly known as Posh chose not to join Scary, Baby, Sporty and Ginger Spice on their Spice World 2019 reunion tour but fans had hoped she may have made a guest appearance at one of the final shows at Wembley.

Mel B told Good Morning Britain: “I expected her to come and just say hi at least. Not even on stage, just as an audience member supporting.

“I’m sure she has her reasons for not. I’ve already said, ‘yeah I was upset’, I still am a little bit. It is what it is and us girls we all support each other no matter what, but yeah it is disappointing. Wedding, Spice Girls show…”

Beckham had several meetings with her bandmates last year before announcing she would not be participating in the tour. She flew out of the UK on a business trip just as the tour arrived in London, where stars including Adele, Lily James and Emma Stone partied backstage with the band.

Mel B added: “No [it’s not a rift]. We’re all adults, we all have to respectfully get on with whatever. But it is a bit disappointing, let’s put it that way.”

The Spice Up Your Life singer also readdressed her claims she and Geri Horner shared a night of passion during the Spice Girls hey day in the 90s. She made the confession on Piers Morgan’s Life Stories but Horner then denied her claims.

Mel B said: “I’m not a liar. I’m very honest. We’re friends at the end of the day.

“Listen, she’s [Geri] used to dealing with me. So I’m going to say whatever I’m going to say within reason, respectfully, and I’m going to tell the truth, she just has to swallow that pill. I’m not apologising.

“I’m not a liar, I’ve already said that. It’s old news, this happened such a long time ago, you know.”

She hinted there may still be tension between herself and Horner, adding: “I didn’t resolve anything, I just showed up to rehearsals, we sang a few songs and then hit the stadiums. When we’re on stage together, us four, we’re transported into our Spice World that we created.”
