Met Office hour-by-hour forecast for Cornwall as temperatures soar

Cornwall is set to bake in sunny weather and warm temperatures for the next few days. The weather is forecast to hit high temperatures well into 20° over the next two days.

Devon-based forecasters at the Met Office have forecast highs of 27° for parts of the south west. Overall it will be a a very warm and humid and the skies will be mostly dry and sunny.

Temperatures in Penzance and Truro will reach 20° this afternoon (June 25), whereas Newquay and Bodmin will be slightly cooler, sitting around 18°. Most will have sunny spells with patches of cloud for much of the day, but the sky will clear in Truro and Bodmin from 6pm.

Tomorrow (Wednesday, June 26) temperatures are expected to be even hotter. Highs of 23° will be seen in Bodmin and Launceston at 3pm, but coastal areas will remain slightly cooler in the high teens.
