Michael Jackson's Brother Begs Ant & Dec: Don’t Invite Conrad Murray On I'm A Celebrity

Jermaine Jackson has made a desperate appeal to Ant and Dec to not allow Michael Jackson’s former physician, Dr Murray Jackson, to star in the next series of I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here.

Dr Murray was jailed for four years for the involuntary manslaughter of Michael – who died in 2009 from acute propofol intoxication – and has released a tell-all book about the pop star and his controversial private life.

In a series of tweets pictured below, Jermaine slammed the “recklessness” of Murray who he insisted “killed Michael” and said the reality show would become “sick entertainment” if he was allowed to appear.

Jermaine, who has appeared on Celebrity Big Brother in the past, ended his frustrated rant saying he’s still waiting for ITV to respond.

He wrote: “Silence from @itv re our concerns that Murray is being lined up for ‘I’m A Celebrity…’ All producers have to say is 'No, he won’t feature'”

He continued: “Murray “is only famous for killing someone”. That someone was Michael, a son, brother, uncle, father, legend @itv.

“And IF @itv mngmnt/producers equate Murray’s criminality with ratings, then their moral compass is hideously skewed. We await a response…”

Meanwhile, Dr Murray’s publicist Max Markson confirmed his client is in negotiations with ITV bosses, telling he Daily Mirror newspaper: “It is true. We are talking to the show’s producers about having Conrad in the jungle for the next show.

"I’m sure everyone will be fascinated to hear what Conrad has to say about his time with Michael.

"He’s a doctor, very calm and great with people and he has some extraordinary stories to tell. He’d be a great draw and I’m sure he’d be a fascinating guest for the show.”
