Michael Jackson's disgraced doctor Conrad Murray requests bumper 'I'm A Celebrity' pay packet

It has been reported that Conrad Murray, the late Michael Jackson’s disgraced doctor, has requested a huge pay packet to appear on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!.

Conrad was jailed for involuntary manslaughter back in 2009 and he is now keen to dabble with reality TV, but he reckons he should be paid extra by ITV due to his “medical skills”.

Speaking to the Daily Star, a source shared: “Murray is trying to pull out all the stops to get more money.

“He thinks that ITV can help solve his finance issues. And the doctor idea is one of the ways that he feels that they can bolster his money.

“Murray has also promised that he will reveal secrets about Jackson to help make the show ‘explosive’ and gain headlines worldwide.”

Conrad’s desire to enter the jungle has been slammed by Michael’s fans as well as his family, with the star’s brother, Jermaine Jackson, directly appealing to I’m A Celeb hosts, Ant and Dec, to not let the doc take part in the show.

Referencing Conrad’s “trashy” book about Michael, Jermaine begged the Geordie stars to not reward the medic with money.

Conrad’s publicist claimed that he was in talks with ITV to appear, stating: “It is true. We are talking to the show’s producers about having Conrad in the jungle for the next show.”

However, a spokesperson for ITV denied that this was the case, sharing: “We have never approached this man to be a contestant on I’m A Celebrity.”
