Crystal Palace have reportedly offered Michael Olise a new deal amid transfer links with Liverpool.

Recent reports have claimed that the Reds have joined the race for the Palace forward, who scored 10 goals and provided six assists in 19 Premier League games last season. It is said that Liverpool are in the market for a right-winger and have compiled a list of potential targets, which also includes PSV Eindhoven's Johan Bakayoko.

Olise has a £60m release clause, with BBC Sport reporting in April that the Eagles would not consider selling the Frenchman for a figure less than that. Manchester United and Chelsea have also been linked with the Palace star.

And now, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Palace have now offered Olise a new deal. The 22-year-old was strongly linked with Chelsea last summer before opting to stay at Selhurst Park and signing a new contract.

"Crystal Palace have offered new deal to Michael Olise, higher salary and new release clause for 2025," he said on X, formerly known as Twitter.

"Understand despite this, Chelsea still confident as they push to agree on personal terms; it’s up to the player. Bayern and Newcastle also allowed to talk to Olise."

Speaking towards the end of last season, former Liverpool midfielder Danny Murphy described Olise as a 'Champions League player'.

He said: "He is a Champions League player - I'm sorry, Palace fans. He will not be there next season. This is an unbelievable talent. There are going to be so many clubs after him because he can do the lot. A wonderful, wonderful player."
