Michelle Keegan has celebrated the return of Tina and Bobby by posting a throwback to her blonde hair transformation for the series.
Originally broadcast in January 2017 and based on Tina Moore's memoir Bobby Moore: By the Person Who Knew Him Best, the TV adaptation followed her struggles to fit in as a housewife, while also placing Bobby's cancer diagnosis and World Cup success with England under the spotlight.

Uploading some shots from the set onto Instagram yesterday (August 4), the actress wrote: "Tina & Bobby is BACK!! On @itv tomorrow night at 9pm Looking back on all these photos makes me miss the cast & crew so much, we had the BEST time filming this! (Not sure I miss those roots growing back every week [two laughing emojis])."
Fans flooded Michelle's comments section to share their excitement – and sympathy – as two of her followers responded: "Can't believe they didn't just let you have a wig! Your poor hair!" and: "yeeeeees can't wait."

Elsewhere, the former Coronation Street star recently opened up on life in lockdown with her husband Mark Wright.
She said of his annoying habit: "When he leaves his pants on the floor, I won't move them. They can stay there for a few days at a time – until he works out that they need to be picked up."
Tina and Bobby airs tonight at 9pm on ITV.
