Michelle Williams' gender pay gap controversy continues

Following the controversy over the amount Michelle Williams and Mark Wahlberg were paid for All the Money in the World reshoots, a new report alleges that Williams's original salary for the movie was significantly smaller than Wahlberg's.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Williams made $625,000 for her pre-reshoot work while Wahlberg made $5 million, or roughly eight times what his female co-star did.

Both actors have roughly the same amount of screen time in the movie, but Williams's performance is the one being touted as an awards contender. (And if you keep score on these types of things, Williams has been nominated for an acting Oscar four times, while Wahlberg has been nominated once.)

After USA Today reported that Williams made less than $1,000 for her reshoot work on the movie, Wahlberg donated $1.5 million to the Time's Up legal fund in Williams's name.

WME, the agency that represents both actors, also donated $500,000 to the Time's Up fund in addition to the $1 million they had already pledged.
