Missing twin schoolgirls, 11, found 'safe and well' following urgent appeal

Police in Leicestershire have confirmed that two schoolgirls who went missing on Tuesday night have been found safe and well.

Twins Gracie and Millie Bennett, 11, were reported missing from their home in Mountsorrel, south of Loughborough, Leicestershire, at around 8.30pm on Tuesday.

Following an urgent appeal, Leicestershire Police have said that the girls were located in Mountsorrel this morning.

Chief Inspector Siobhan Gorman said: "I'd like to place on record my thanks to everyone who shared our appeal and the local community for their help in locating both girls."
