Ministry of Defence road closure starts at Porton

Temporary road closures in Porton started yesterday near the Ministry of Defence site, and will continue until July 12.

A stretch of Winterslow Road, which passes through the Porton Range, will remain closed Monday to Friday between 10am and 3pm from today until Friday, July 12.

The road closure applies to the section of Winterslow Road between the Blackburn Road junction through to the junction of the A30.

The Ministry of Defence is exercising a legal right to close the road for operational reasons.
