Missing woman sparks police search in Ayr
A woman who vanished from Ayr this morning has sparked a police search for her safe return.
Officers are appealing for help to trace 36-year-old Carrie Donner, who was last seen in the Dalmellington Road area around 6.10am.
She is described as being around 5ft 8in tall, medium build, with black hair. She has tattoos on her neck, hands, arms and shins. When last seen, Carrie was wearing a beige hooded top, a green t-shirt and black shorts.
Sergeant Martin Lawrie said: “Our enquiries are ongoing to trace Carrie and we are appealing to anyone who may have seen her, or has any information on where she may be, to come forward. “Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting reference 0551 of 20 May, 2024.” Read next:
