Liverpool played 58 games across four competitions in Jurgen Klopp's last season in charge. The Carabao Cup was the only trophy won in an action-packed 10 months.

The Reds fell short in the Premier League title race and were knocked out of the FA Cup to the eventful winners in Manchester United. Under Arne Slot, the club will be hoping to build on last season.

Subject to any additional fixture announcements, Liverpool will kick start their pre-season schedule against Real Betis in Pittsburgh. They will take on Premier League rivals Arsenal and Man United in the United States before hosting Sevilla six days before their trip to Ipswich Town.

Many of Slot's first-team players are away with their national teams participating in Euro 2024 and Copa America. Ibrahima Konate, Virgil van Dijk, Andrew Robertson, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Dominik Szoboszlai, Cody Gakpo and Diogo Jota have all appeared in Germany while Alisson, Darwin Nunez and Luis Diaz will kickstart their Copa America campaigns this week.

However, there are a number of players who have enjoyed a longer summer break and have been making the most of their downtime before returning to Merseyside.

Here, the ECHO rounds up what the stars who are not on international duty have been doing with their time off.

Mohamed Salah

After scoring 25 goals and assisting a further 14 for Liverpool, Salah's 2023/24 season ended with a goal and assist for Egypt earlier this month. The winger celebrated his 32nd birthday and completely changed his look with a new hair style.

This weekend, the Egyptian King posted an update of his physique.

Harvey Elliott

The midfielder was part of England's provisional squad for Euro 2024 but did not make the final cut. Since then, he has enjoyed some time in Ibiza, meeting up with teammate Tyler Morton.

Kostas Tsimikas

The left-back's holiday trips have been something to be jealous of. He has visited Sicily, Greece and the Maldives after last season. Tsimikas has been linked with a move away from Anfield but it's expected that Arne Slot will take a look at him before deciding.

Stefan Bajcetic

After suffering an injury-hit season, Bajcetic made his return to action in the 4-2 win over Tottenham in May. At only 19, the upcoming season could be a big one for him on an individual basis and he has been putting the work in.

Curtis Jones

Like Elliott, Jones didn't make the official Euro 2024 England squad after originally being called-up. The academy graduate jetted off to the United States ahead of a potentially huge season for himself.
