More tributes have been laid at the site of a fatal crash in Bolton.

Earlier this week, the family of Karen Kimblin released a tribute to their "caring and loving" grandmother after she was killed in a crash on St Helens Road on Saturday, June 22.

Karen, who was in her 60s, worked as a nurse throughout her life.

One resident has now started a petition to make the road safer.

On the side of the road, several bunches of flowers have now been attached to the temporary railing at the scene of the crash.

Messages left include: “To our beautiful mum. You were taken from us too soon and our hearts are broken.

“We will miss you every day. Love your girls xxxx.”
