Today's (August 22) This Morning delved into the topic of extreme OCD and how people's need to constantly do a certain action can impact their lives.

Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes interviewed Serin Rayer-Davies and her dad, who said that Serin's condition has meant she has washed her hair 72 times in one day.

Serin explained to the hosts how OCD works, relating how one thing can lead to another and then another and then another until it can take over:

Serin also talked about the coping mechanisms that she has discovered, as well as how the support from her father, her husband and therapy have helped her manage her OCD.

In the last week, Ruth and Eamonn have also interviewed a 13-year-old who is trapped in a toddler's body due to a one-of-a-kind genetic condition, and a former This Morning producer who was tragically left with brain damage following a severe allergic reaction.
