This Morning contributor Sophie Prescott has taken a swipe at Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda Holden following reports of a feud between her and Phillip Schofield.

Sophie has fronted sections about crafts and decorations on ITV's magazine show and appeared on-air with Amanda last October, but claimed that she found Amanda to be difficult to work with.

In conversation with The Mirror, Sophie explained: "Amanda was all 'me, me, me'. I put on a brave happy face doing the show but Amanda was very off-putting during my live appearance; kept asking questions, kept interfering and I felt she was a very controlling person."

Her comments come after tabloid reports suggested that Amanda claimed Phillip had stood in her way of getting Holly Willoughby's This Morning co-presenting gig last year while Holly was away in Australia filming I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!.

Sophie went on to say: "Amanda is being thoroughly unprofessional in her behaviour to a fellow ITV family member.

"Who does Amanda think she is? Amanda should be 'yellow-carded' and told to shut up, or face getting the sack from Britain's Got Talent."

For his part, Phillip has appeared to deny the speculation about him, tweeting this weekend: "When you try for 35 years to be the easiest, most fun person to work with and you read such hurtful and wildly untrue stories from nameless 'sources'. Obviously I'll take it on the chin.. I just hope you know me better."

Meanwhile, Amanda said on her Heart breakfast show that she did "offer to meet [Phillip] for a coffee" to discuss things, but said she never heard back.

The ITV water-cooler chat must be fiery right now...

This Morning airs weekdays and Sundays from 10.30am on ITV.
