Mum dresses her baby up for a truly magical Harry Potter photoshoot

Photographer Kayla Glover has shared her love of Harry Potter in the most magical way. The proud mum recently decided to dress up her baby daughter Lorelai Grace for a series of themed images to celebrate her turning three months old – and the results are absolutely adorable!

For the shoot, Kayla gathered up all of her original Harry Potter books, a decorative Halloween cauldron, a wand, a Gryffindor scarf and even a pair of round glasses for Lorelai to wear.

Kayla Glover dressed daughter Lorelai up for a special Harry Potter photoshoot

"Lorelai has a very 'Harry Potter' look to her with the big eyes and the constantly messy hair, so this was a cinch," Kayla revealed on her blog. "Plus, all she had to do was lay there and hold her wand while looking adorable – she is a pro!

"When I downloaded the images to my computer after we were done I seriously wanted to cry. They were so much better than my initial vision. They are still to date my favourite images of her and I am so excited for the day that I can introduce these books to her, and hope she loves them as much as I did."

The photographer said they are her favourite images of her baby girl so far

Kayla later opened up about her wonderful wizarding photoshoot to Huffington Post. "I wanted to be sure to include my original set of books because they mean so much to me and represent such a fun part of my childhood," she said.

Of her little girl, she added: "She enjoyed trying to chew on the wand any chance she got, and her little face looked so silly when the glasses would slip down her nose."

Kayla also revealed that she plans to start reading the books to Lorelai when she is 10-years-old – the same age Kayla was when she got started. But in the meantime, there might well be more Harry Potter-inspired photos to come. "Now that her hair has changed red, I'm thinking I'll at some point need to make her a Weasley as well!" she shared.
