Murray Puts GB In Control

Andy Murray has helped Great Britain make the perfect start to their Davis Cup tie with Hungary in Glasgow.

Murray won the second singles match against Sebo Kiss in straight sets to put Britain 2-0 up.

Earlier James Ward beat Attila Balazs in four sets.

The Great Britain team need to win just one of the remaining three rubbers across the weekend to secure promotion in the Euro Africa Zone in the Davis Cup.

Murray said: "I thought he (Kiss) played very well in the third set. I started the match well but when he started to play better I started to make a few more mistakes. But it's good to have a 2-0 lead after the first day."
