Myleene Klass has hinted she could return to the "incredible" I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here if the rumours of an "all-stars" series come to fruition.

The 44-year-old singer and presenter competed on the reality show in 2006 and finished in second place behind Busted star Matt Willis.

Asked about a potential return by Metro, Klass said: "Put it this way, I haven’t packed away my white bikini quite yet. It hasn’t gone up into the loft yet."

The former Hear'Say star described her previous run on the show as "one of the best times of my life" and said she has "totally blanked out everything that was horrific" about the creepy crawlies and Bushtucker Trials.

She added: "It was definitely a different time in my life, I didn’t have my children then, and I didn’t have anything that I have now.

"There was no business empire, there were no books, there was no TV. There was just me — me in the jungle with a white bikini. It was a very liberating feeling."

Klass has nothing but praise for the show looking back on her experience, saying: "I know people think of it in different ways but for me, I think it’s in the face of adversity, it’s the way people get to know what they’re made of, test their mettle, and just face their fear."

Amid persistent rumours that former campmates could return for a special series, another famous former contestant Fleur East has recently spoken about the possibility.

The former X Factor singer came fourth on the 2018 series, which was won by football manager Harry Redknapp.

On the prospect of a jungle return, she told the Mirror: "I’m not saying emphatically that I wouldn’t do it. But I would have to go back to the jungle and not the castle in Wales. I remember how they had hot showers in the castle and we had nothing like that.

"They didn’t have the danger of a brown snake under their hammock. I had to sleep out in the cold, have cold showers and I even had to use a bar of soap that Harry Redknapp had used to wash his bum."

I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here has filmed in a Welsh castle for the last two years due to COVID-19 travel restrictions preventing the show airing from the Australian jungle.

However, hosting duo Ant and Dec have expressed their hopes that the 2022 series will be able to return to its usual home.

Reports have swirled for most of this year that ITV has plans to debut an "all-stars" edition of the show next year, bringing back famous campmates from past series.

Helen Flanagan, Gino D'Acampo and Gillian McKeith have been among the famous faces linked to the possible all-stars run.
