Ndlovu Youth Choir Follows Up Viral COVID-19 Song With Handwashing Tune

The Ndlovu Youth Choir, a group of energetic South African singers, have followed up their catchy ’We’ve Got This’ coronavirus-awareness song with a music video to demonstrate proper handwashing for those with limited access to running water.

The video, filmed in Johannesburg, South Africa, and posted to Twitter on March 24, shows the group of former America’s Got Talent finalists advising their listeners in a mixture of English and Zulu to wash their hands for a full 20 seconds.

“We come from a community with limited access to running water. As washing hands is our first line of defense against #Coronavirus, we have made a video on how to safely wash your hands using a bucket. Stay safe and wash your hands. We are all in this together,” the video description said.

According to their website, the Ndlovu Youth Choir was founded in 2009 and seeks to provide an outlet for the youth of Limpopo, changing their lives through song and dance. Credit: Ndlovu Youth Choir via Storyful
