Yahoo News Neighbours' Chloe writes love letter to Elly
Neighbours' Chloe Brennan will decide it's time to confess her feelings for Elly Conway in the build-up to Christmas.
Chloe (April Rose Pengilly) recently made a move on Elly while they were having a cosy heart-to-heart, although she later brushed it off as a silly mistake.
Although Elly (Jodi Anasta) is now engaged to Chloe's brother Mark, there's more drama to come for this complicated love triangle in upcoming episodes.
A few days before Christmas, Chloe heads off on a night out with Aaron and David but becomes uncomfortable when Mark and Elly decide to tag along.
Chloe doesn't enjoy being around the happy couple, so hits the bottle hard and distracts herself by flirting with a male waterpolo team.
Elly is quick to express concern to Mark (Scott McGregor) that Chloe is spiralling out of control, but he insists that it's nothing to worry about as it's just her way of dealing with her Huntington's diagnosis.
This explanation leaves Elly unconvinced, fearing that the recent kiss is the driving factor between Chloe's behaviour.
The next day, Elly voices her suspicions privately to Chloe but is upset when she shuts her down, not wanting to talk about it.
Later, after thinking about it, Chloe decides she should be more honest about her feelings and writes Elly a long Christmas letter, outlining her love.
Chloe then delivers it to Elly’s mailbox and begins the anxious wait for a response. Could this cause fireworks within the Brennan family?
Neighbours airs these scenes on Friday, December 21 at 12.45pm and 6pm on Channel 5.
