Yahoo News Neighbours star Jackie Woodburne reveals the Karl and Susan story she pitched to producers
Neighbours star Jackie Woodburne has revealed the Karl and Susan storyline she once pitched to the show's producers.
Speaking to Inside Soap, the Susan Kennedy actress shared how she's always throwing storyline ideas at the writers in the hope that one of them will eventually stick.

Alas, she hasn't had much luck yet, but a few years ago she did manage to flesh out an interesting story idea for Karl (Alan Fletcher) and Susan.
"I remember pitching a story years ago about Karl and Susan discussing having another baby, and Susan not wanting to – and then finally caving in and agreeing, and saying, 'Okay, I'll have the child if you stay at home and be the carer.'" she said.
"And then, of course, Dr Karl didn't like that idea at all! I guess I was pushing a bit of a feminist angle at that time, but it was a good story."

She added: "If I think of something I'll pitch it. Almost all of them are probably utter rubbish, but if I keep throwing stuff at the bosses some of them will eventually stick!
"I really love brainstorming with the writers about storyline ideas."
Neighbours airs weekdays at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5 (UK) and 6.30pm on 10 Peach (Australia).
