Gordon Ramsay, Gino D’Acampo and Fred Sirieix are heading out on a new Road Trip that will air months after D’Acampo exited the programme.

The chefs have been hitting the road for adventures together since 2017, but earlier this year D’Acampo said he was leaving and that although everyone liked the shows, “like all good things in life, at some point they have to come to an end”.

However, the trio will be seen taking in the sights and sumptuous delights of Spain in a new show.

The series will return to ITV1 and ITVX in September, with the boys back behind the wheel of their beloved RV for an epic odyssey across Andalusia and Galicia.

The Spanish trip – apparently filmed before D’Acampo departed – will see the cooks once again battling it out for supremacy in everything from driving to cooking and flamenco dancing.

Show bosses have told viewers to “expect more stunning locations, high-octane surprises and – above all – a determination to have the time of their lives in what looks set to be their most outrageous road trip yet”.

Ramsay, D’Acampo and Sirieix have road-tripped across places such as Italy, Morocco and Lapland in the past.

Why did D'Acampo leave the show?

But in March this year D’Acampo told his TikTok followers that he was leaving.

He said it had “nothing to do with Gordon and Fred” and that the “friendship is very strong”.

"It's just because we can't get the dates together and when we do get the dates together, sometimes they get changed and it causes a lot of problems for me, because then I've got other stuff that I have to do,” he went on.

"Personal problems as well because, you know, when I have to change things with my family, it's always very complicated."

“Also because, contracts, When contracts start to get very complicated, then it becomes very stressful, and I personally value the friendship with Gordon and Fred so much, that I'd rather the friendship than getting arguments with the contracts," he explained.

Gino, Gordon & Fred: Viva Espana! is set to air in September, with an exact air date yet to be announced.
