Emma Stone Thinks 'Britain Is A Boozy, Foul-Mouthed Place'

Emma Stone might be dating a British hunk, in the form of Andrew Garfield, but the British way of life often leaves her speechless, especially because of the swearing, and drinking habits.

The Hollywood star told Glamour magazine, "Why is drinking such a big thing in Britain? Then there’s the ‘c’ word – the ‘see you next Tuesday’ word – it’s everywhere, peppering every sentence, whereas if you say that word in America it shuts down the whole room," she complained.

"And of course there’s all the ‘piss-taking’ you guys do over there…"

The actress also opened up about fame and went on to say that after finding romance with co-star Andrew Garfield on the set of 'The Amazing Spider- Man', this has resulted in her being super paranoid and has even been forced to walk around with her mirror at the ready.

"It feels like having a private investigator on you or something. You find yourself walking around holding your head up like you’re looking in the mirror – and your friends are wondering what’s wrong with you," the star told the magazine.

"Then I feel like a jerk because half the time there’s nobody there…still, I really don’t want to be caught with a burger all over my face."

The 24-year-old says her first cold lesson of fame came when directors made her strip off as a teenager to get a film job.

"We had to line up in bikinis in front of a bunch of middle-aged men, which was the worst. I literally had the body of a ten-year-old boy back then. But the most horrific thing was that I wasn’t acting: I was just standing there in a bikini. I assume that’s what Bar Refaeli feels like, but then I’m not a sports Illustrated supermodel."

So she just have body issues like the rest of us, after all!
