'Everyone's Gay': Keith Urban 'Shared Kiss With Male Country Radio DJ Gerry House'

Keith Urban may be happily married to Nicole Kidman but country radio personality Gerry House seems keen to put a spanner in the works as he has reportedly claimed to have shared a kiss with the country singer in an explosive tell-all book.

Gerry, 65, is reported to have penned a memoir titled Country Music Broke My Brain, in which he claims the majority of the country industry is gay while also detailing his alleged encounter with American Idol judge Keith, who has been married to Oscar-winner Kidman since 2006.

“Everyone’s gay!” Gerry writes in the book according to Radar Online.

“I once kissed Keith Urban.” Recalling the alleged moment which he clearly treasures, Gerry continued: “Just a peck on the lips. At the stroke of midnight on New Year’s Eve. From what I recall, there was a substantial amount of wine reported missing the next morning.

“My wife was off in another room when the big midnight celebration moment arrives. I puckered up for the nearest person in order to honour Auld Lang Syne. It just turned out to be the guy who married Nicole Kidman.”

Gerry jokingly goes on to pretend that he's been badly affected by the fact that Keith no longer contacts him, adding: “I should tell you that [Keith] never writes. He never calls. He treats me like yesterday’s newspaper. I have spent many nights standing in front of the fridge, eating ice cream out of the container with a scoop because of it.”

Keith, 46, is either unaware of Gerry's claim or he's simply fine with it as the singer has reportedly written a blurb tributing the DJ for the cover of the tell-all, which reads: “Gerry I love you like a brother. I get the top bunk though!”

Even more shockingly, Gerry goes on to allege that there are several other country stars who are secretly gay.

“I don’t even know where to start when talking about the gay influence on country music,” he writes.

“There is a surprisingly large family of gay (openly or not) men and women in Nashville. The truth is, I think hardly anyone on Music Row would punish you if you’re gay. Hell, they might be gay!”

Reportedly referencing openly lesbian singer Chely Wright, Gerry continues: “I’ve only known one person to use gayness as a career crutch. She was a slightly successful singer/songwriter, who came out as a lesbian … [and lair] contended that her ‘Career’ had been ruined by the Music Row community when they learned she was gay.”

He continues: “The unfortunate part of her argument is that her career never really got that big to begin with! Chely was not exactly Carrie Underwood at any point. Besides, it had been years since she’d had a hit or anyone had even thought of her.”
