The hip-hop world have paid tribute to boxing legend Joe Frazier who sadly passed away on Monday following a long battle with liver cancer.

Joe was at the height of his boxing career in the 1970s when he famously lost to Muhammed Ali in two out of three fights. One of those - dubbed 'Thrilla In Manila' - is thought of as the greatest fight of all time.

Several stars have taken to their Twitter to pay their respects to the legend. J. Cole wrote on his account: "Up goes Frazier.. RIP," while Jadakiss said: "One Love! #smoking JOE!"

Rap veteran Chuck D expressed his regret at not meeting the boxing champ, writing: "Always wanted to meet JoeFrazier, never did. Which makes me appreciate more doing positive work wi another of my heroes Mr KareemAbdulJabbar."

In an unexpected act of kindness, Floyd Mayweather offered to pay for the funeral arrangements, saying: "My Condolences go out to the family of the late great Joe Frazier. #TheMoneyTeam will pay for his Funeral services."

RIP Joe Frazier.
