It's been a crazy week in terms of musical comebacks. First off we had David Bowie with a super stealth new single release then today it was a case of nineties/noughties nostalgia when Justin Timberlake AND Destiny's Child announced new music!

On Tuesday David Bowie shocked us all when he casually treated fans by releasing his first song in ten years along with the announcement of a new album, The Next Day. The announcement, made on Bowie's 66th birthday came as a complete surprise to music industry bods and fans but the single was soon rocketing up the UK iTunes chart, over taking the likes of Taylor Swift and Rihanna.

For younger music fans, today saw two huge announcements. First up we were all on tenterhooks as Justin Timberlake promised a big announcement. When the time came, JT linked us to a teaser video of him taking a long walk to a recording studio where he donned a pair of headphones, stood in front of a mic and decalred "I'm ready". Quite what Justin is ready for remains to be seen (when the countdown clock stops on Monday, January 14) but it's safe to say we can expect new music from the star after a six year break.

Sources have claimed that Timbaland has produced Justin's entire new album, of which the singer has recorded 20 tracks, and will also feature and Jay-Z and Beyonce whom he was seen in a studio with in NYC, exciting stuff!

Whilst we're on the subject of Beyonce, she had the other big music news today announcing that she's reuniting with her Destiny's Child bandmates.

The iconic R&B girl band, consisting of Beyonce, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams split in 2004 to focus on their solo careers, but today, they announced that they will be releasing a new album this month, titled Love Songs.

Featuring some of the group's most-loved romantic tracks released throughout their career from 1997, such as 'Cater 2 U', 'Brown Eyes' and 'Emotion', 'Love Songs' will also feature a new recording, titled 'Nuclear.'

'Nuclear' is the first original recording from the trio since their last album Destiny Fulfilled was released in 2004.

So with three huge music acts confirming new tunes, the question is which comeback are you most excited for? Tell us in our poll below!
